I get an error message "A Secure Email Certificate has already been issued for this Email Address!" when applying for the email certificate

The reason you will see this error message is that an email certificate has already been issued to your email address.

Please submit a ticket at http://support.comodo.com and ask the support team to revoke the email certificate so that you can reapply.
